Today, the three political parties, Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael and the Green Party, voted in favour of the Programme for Government. This means that, after several months of waiting, we finally have a new Government in place.

This is great news for the members of the Justice for the Undocumented Campaign, as it means that the commitment made in the Programme to introduce a pathway to papers for undocumented people and their dependents is closer to becoming a reality.

In the next few days, we will know who the new Taoiseach and the new Minister for Justice are. MRCI and JFU will be advancing a campaign strategy that puts pressure on the incoming Minister to ensure the scheme comes in quickly and is as inclusive as possible, leaving no one behind.
