For 20 years MRCI has been side by side with workers on employment permits, fighting exploitation and sub-standard working conditions. So that every worker coming to make a living in Ireland has the same set of basic rights, can work, progress and live in dignity.
As a National Assessment Centre for Trafficking for Labour Exploitation, MRCI screen and assess people who may be in situations of trafficking and provide them with needed supports and assistance. Over the years, MRCI has helped hundreds of people to stand up for their rights in the most difficult circumstances. In addition, MRCI advocates for improvements in anti-trafficking policies and laws at the National and European level.
