By 26 April 2023No Comments

The Minister for Justice has extended immigration permissions for all beneficiaries of TPD to 4th of March 2024.

From 16th of February 2023, non-nationals staying in Ireland with a Temporary Protection Certificate (TPC – Yellow paper), will no longer need to apply for a new  TPC. The expired certificates may be used as proof of entitlement to temporary protection and related state services until 4th of March 2024.

If your TPD certificate is already expired  and you plan to travel and re-enter the State, please note  below information:

  • There’s no action necessary, if you are Ukrainian national or if you are from a non-visa required country for Ireland.
  • You need to contact temporaryprotection@justice.ie, if you are from a visa required country for  needed  document to re-enter Ireland. If you fail to make necessary arrangements before you travel, you will need to apply for a visa to re-enter the State.
