Immigration Service Delivery has announced that those who entered Ireland as a Beneficiary of the Afghan Admissions Programme can now renew their permission independently of their Sponsor.
Here are the eligibility criteria:
- You entered Ireland and have continuously lived in Ireland as a Beneficiary of the Afghan Admission Programme
- Your most recent IRP card was issued on the basis of being a Beneficiary of the Afghan Admission Programme
- You have not been outside Ireland for longer than 90 days altogether in any one year
- You have not previously applied for international protection
- You are not subject to a Deportation Order
If successful, this permission will be granted for 2 years and renewable as long as the above conditions are met.
