The Department of Justice’s Disability Access Office

The Department of Justice (which includes all immigration-related departments) has a Disability Access Officer:

  • The Access Officer is responsible for supporting persons with disabilities who wish to access the services provided by the Department of Justice.
  • The Access Officer also acts as a point of contact for persons with disabilities who wish to access such services.

Please note, the Access Officer is not a decision maker and cannot assist in changing or appealing decisions, but can act as a liaison with a specific Immigration department for persons with a disability.
