Starting 1st February 2024, The Department of Justice will accept applications for the Reactivation Employment Permit by email via DRPcustomerservice@justice.ie
Did you know the Reactivation Employment Permit offers a route back into the permit system for people who fell out of it through no fault of their own?
It is open to people whose permits have not been renewed or to people who were exploited or treated badly in their job.

If successful, the applicant will be granted 6 months temporary permission to apply for NEW REACTIVATION EMPLOYMENT PERMIT.
