The Irish Minister for Justice has extended immigration permissions for all Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection until 4 March 2027.
If you are in Ireland holding a Temporary Protection Certificate (yellow paper) valid until 4 March 2026, here is what this means for you:
You do not need a new certificate. Your expired yellow certificate will continue to be accepted as valid proof of entitlement to temporary protection and related state services until 4 March 2027. You do not need to apply for anything new in relation to your certificate.
You must renew your IRP card. While the certificate extension is automatic, your Irish Residence Permit (IRP) card must still be renewed. You can do this online at: inisonline.jahs.ie
