A message to the undocumented in the U.S.

For St. Patrick's Day, Justice for the Undocumented wanted to send a message of hope and solidarity to undocumented migrants in the US. On Sunday 15th March 2015, we wrapped our Dame Street building in a huge banner reading Happy St. Patrick's Day to the undocumented in the U.S.A. from the undocumented in Ireland. In what seemed like a matter of minutes, word began to spread to U.S. immigration activists on Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr, and over the next week we watched images of the banner and our action travel across America. Undocumented migrants in Ireland and the U.S. share the same plight, and solidarity is vital.
