COVID-19 Vaccination Programme

The vaccination programme continues to be rolled out nationwide, and as of 27th April 1,452,434 vaccines have been administered in Ireland.

For updates and information on each of the allocation groups, and when and where they’ll be invited for their vaccine, see below or visit: www.hse.ie/rollout.

People aged 60-69
It’s now time for everyone aged 60-69 to register for their vaccine. Please visit hse.ie or call 1850 24 1850 to register now. If you know someone who is in this age group, check that they’ve registered, and see if they need information on where to go, or need help to do this.

Read the user guide for help with registering online.

Group 3: People aged 70 and older

Vaccination of people aged 70 and older living in the community is happening now. It’s expected that everyone in this group will be vaccinated, with both doses, by the end of May.

Group 4: People aged 16 to 69 who are at very high risk

You can find a list of conditions here.

For people aged 60 to 69 at very high risk:

If you are aged 60 to 69, at very high risk, and have not gotten your vaccination appointment yet, it’s now time to register for your COVID-19 vaccine online, or call the COVID-19 helpline to register by phone.

For people at very high risk attending hospital or disability services:

People at very high risk who are attending hospital or disability services are being vaccinated. Hospital or disability services will contact you when it’s your turn to be vaccinated.

For people at very high risk not attending regular hospital services:

Some people in group 4 are not in regular contact with a hospital or disability service. GPs will vaccinate people in this group. It will take some time for GPs to identify and invite everyone.

GPs will contact their patients when it’s their turn to be vaccinated.
