MRCI policy Work:
MRCI believes that in order to ensure a more equal and just society action is required to address structural and institutional inequalities. This requires a focus on how policy is designed, implemented and monitored. MRCI seeks to impact positively on both the content and structures of policy and decision-making structures, and the implementation of policy decisions. We do this through developing policy and research papers, and generating evidence-based information to inform policy making and articulate the impact of policy on the lives of migrant workers and their families. We critique and comment on existing and new policy developments, and actively engage in consultation processes. Through these activities MRCI strives to ensure that migrant workers themselves are directly involved in decisions thatact on their lives.
