#RefugeesWelcome: What YOU can do

All week, amazing people across Ireland have been reaching out to ask what they can do to help alleviate the suffering at Europe’s borders. Here are a few suggestions.

  • JFU at the Cliffs of Moher

Join the Justice for the Undocumented campaign

Are you undocumented? The JFU campaign has over 1200 members. Meet other undocumented people in Ireland, join the fight for justice and have your voice heard. Phone MRCI and ask for Helen or Dearbhla or email dearbhla@mrci.ie – it’s safe and confidential. Do get in contact and be part of change!

Endorse the Justice for the Undocumented campaign

Every group in this image supports a regularisation scheme for undocumented people in Ireland. We think your organisation's logo belongs there too - and here's why:

A regularisation scheme is the right thing to do and the smart thing to do. This is a vital human rights issue for the undocumented migrants and their families who have put down roots and are making a valuable contribution. A regularisation will help stamp out exploitation, make families more secure, and generate a potential €185 million for the Irish economy. This idea is gaining momentum: the Irish public agrees. NOW is the time is now to join the growing coalition of NGOs, business organisations and community groups endorsing our regularisation proposal.

The campaign is at a critical phase and we need your help to get it over the line. Get in contact with helen@mrci.ie and let’s make this happen!

Report racism

If you have experienced or witnessed racism in any form, click HERE and report it to iReport.ie - your report is completely confidential and will help us to build up evidence of racism in Ireland. Thank you!
