Migrants Forum

The Migrants Forum is a collective space for migrant workers to receive information and support, share experiences and raise key issues of concern to them. It is held every two months on a Sunday afternoon.

The Migrants Forum regularly holds ‘Know Your Rights' information sessions on key policy developments in the area of immigration, work permits and workplace rights. The Forum has also facilitated dialogue between migrant workers and representatives of State agencies, government departments and political parties, by inviting them to speak at Forum meetings and hear the concerns of migrant workers. Through the Forum, migrant workers can also become involved in campaigns for policy change and take action on these key issues.

All migrant workers and their family members are very welcome to participate in the Migrants Forum, it is a family-friendly, informal and diverse space. The Forum is usually followed by tea, coffee and refreshments and an opportunity to meet and chat with other participants.

If you are a migrant worker and would like to receive information about the next Forum, please email info@mrci.ie, or text 086 256 7895 with your name, mobile number and email address.
