The role of the Office Manager is to ensure the efficient running of MRCI's office and financial systems and procedures. Reporting to the Director.


Essential criteria:

• Have in-depth knowledge of Sage Line 50 or similar accounts package

• Have in-depth knowledge of Quickpay or similar payroll software

• Have at least 3 years experience working in an administration role

• Experience preparing funding proposals and reports

• Experience preparing financial reports for Management and Board

• Full working knowledge of MS Office and Excel


Duties:

• Maintaining MRCI accounts and finances to the highest possible standards

• Ensuring adherence to organisational and programme budgets

• Ensuring MRCI's financial procedures and policies are implemented fully

• Liaising with and preparing reports for the Finance Subgroup

• Coordinating and maintaining the office space including necessary supplies

• Managing reception and supervising relevant staff and volunteers

• Coordinating MRCI's volunteer and intern programme

• Coordinating IT systems and liaising with external support

• Attending MRCI Board meetings and providing administrative support

• Coordinating MRCI's internal communications infrastructure

• Supporting MRCI's fundraising strategy and supervising of fundraising interns

• Maintaining staff records
